Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] help: pCP on Rpi3 and DSD
Because squeezelite only supports DoP. -D [delay]Output device supports DSD over PCM (DoP), delay = optional delay switching between PCM and DoP in ms There are full DSD patches out there, but you would have to build your own squeezelite. paul-'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58858 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108257 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
[SlimDevices: Unix] help: pCP on Rpi3 and DSD
I am trying to play DSD file on pCP and Rpi3. The USB DAC of course plays DSD natively. I enabled the DSDPlayer in the plugin section of the LMS (that runs on the very same Rpi3) and so DSD file (dsf) are recongized and played, but my DAC displays "PCM 352k" and not DSD. what's wrong? (of course, if I play the very same file with JRiver, the DAC displays DSD and not PCM) steff's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66870 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108257 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

No, we're 2.4G only (I think it's an Aerohive network). There are 40-50 devices on the network from Apple devices to Crestron AV components. I just may be out of luck here. Would an older Squeezebox device do better? Thanks again. Many thanks, Mark That log is normal since you don't have music. It shouldn't affect any of the streaming. It's more than likely a wifi issue. Setting up the drive in pCP only mounts the drive, you still need to configure your music location in LMS. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce piCorePlayer 3.20
RPi 3, piCorePlayer 3.22 Audio, Digi+ Pro hat, 8GB Sony micro SD class 10, Edimax dongle, LMS installed on SD card. Adafruit 5.25v 2A power supply. Streaming internet radio and Tidal only. This is a work environment so I cannot connect to the wired network and am forced to use the WiFi network. Periodically my laptop (logged into cgi-bin) loses contact with the RPi and audio is either interrupted or stops. Unplugging power and rebooting frequently restores audio temporarily. I tried using a fresh non-Audio image but that did not help. I tried a different SD card and a different power supply and that didn't help either. I switched from a TP Link to Edimax WiFi dongle and no improvement. At first I thought I had a networking issue with WiFi but the WiFi scan appears decent (at least to me): 1. AsE92 62/100 1 (2.412GHz) on WPA2 Now I'm wondering if I have an LMS issue. Again, I don't have a local server available in the office so I am forced to have the LMS server installed on the SD card. Here is the LMS scan output: [17-11-13 13:16:19.9795] Slim::Utils::SQLiteHelper::postConnect (374) Optimizing DB because of missing or empty sqlite_stat1 table [17-11-13 13:16:20.8470] Slim::Schema::forceCommit (2149) Warning: Trying to commit transactions before DB is initialized! [SlimDevices: Unix] output freeze (flac decode)
Hello, I have an installation of LMS on my NAS synology 215J. As client, I have a raspberry pi 1 plugged with _USB_ to amplificator SMSL Q5 PRO. I use _PiCorePlayer_ to run raspberry pi with squeezelite. I want to play _FLAC_ files. According to this list of configuration of USB-DAC (available on List-of-USB-DACs of picoreplayer site) I configured it with “sysdefault:CARD=AMP“: 11/24/2016 17:20:09 SMSL Q5 PRO 44.1 kHzv3.02 Knut sysdefault:CARD=AMP All works fine, the SMSL decode correctly FLAC files. BUT, when I switch off the SMSL (not the raspberry pi 1), and after several time I switch on the SMSL, the raspberry pi try to decode FLAC alone, but the processor are not able to do that, so, the audio freeze. _I_always_would_like_to_decode_audio_by_USB-DAC_when_it_is_switch_on._ How can I do that?
