Ok tx. I made another share name minus the apostrophe, mounted under
/mnt/music and it seemed to accept it this time.
But when I go to the LMS UI, it just presents two local mount points and
no apparent network share.

It's all a bit different from the Windows LMS and my Unix is very rusty!

The mount point is whatever you want it to be...

The ' is what's causing the problems, it is not allowed in the pattern.

but it refuses, pointing to the share name saying "Please match the
requested format ...".
The Windows share name is "My-name's music" (my quotes). Does the space
or apostrophe matter? They don't with an existing LMS (on windows) .

Also what should the mount point on /mnt/ be? Do I need to create a
subdir first?
