Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: Squeezelite - a small headless squeezeplay emulator for linux (alsa only)
Hello, I am using Squeezelite-x in Windows 10. The creator of SLX pointed me to this topic to ask about my problem. I cannot get Native DSD to work. LMS is installed on a Synology DS214 NAS (armadaxp), latest version from sourceforge. My USB adapter is a Mutec MC3+ USB, ASIO drivers, capable of both, DoP and Native. I can get it to work with DSDPlay disabled and using -D :U32BE, but, for example for DSD128, my ASIO driver panel reports 352,800hz sample rate ASIO active (PCM mode). Therefore I believe it is actually DoP. The same behavior I get with DSDplay plugin enabled (of course adjusting relevant settings in advanced/file settings). DSDPlay under player tab reports "This player supports native playback of DSD files. DSD-over-PCM should be configured on the player configuration interface" I don't know exactly how -D argument works and have no clue about what :U32BE part does (i just googled to see what settings work for others and copy pasted). hellrider77's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68706 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Memory Leak in Perl Engine on piCorePlayer?
I can confirm that no open file handles are left behind, only the number of files in /tmp/ is growing. I'll keep an eye on the files and on the memory consumption. philippe_44 wrote: > I'm checking files with > > Code: > > > lsof -r +D /tmp -a -p your_pid > > > lsof on the BusyBox doesn't seem to care at all which options I supply. scaleo home server 2105 & picoreplayer 6.1.0 | logitech media server 8.2.0 | server power control 20120716.103808 | transporter & duet & touch & boom & radio | rotel rc-995 & rmb-100 | nubert nuvero 140 mvordeme's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113321 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
[SlimDevices: Unix] IPeng on IOS 6
Hello, I have bought a very old iPod touch 4th gen and wanted to turn it into a squeezebox player using IPeng app. I thought I would be able to install a compatible version from the App Store but it is not the case. Does anyone has a suggestion to overcome the issue, or another way? Thanks! My vu meter and spectrum analyzer are very very fast and never behind. It my be my perception rather than reality, but I set the frame rate to 60 on pcp tweaks page and that seemed to make the meters even more snappy. It's set to dim the display after 1 minute, and completely turn off the display backlight after 30 minutes (this works regardless of wether something is playing). When nothing is playing Material has a clock screensaver (fairly basic but looks okay). (this uses a bash script to monitor screensaver status and toggle the backlight power) In principle this solution should work by itself, but I've also added a LED-button that lights up when the display turns off (to indicate the screen is in sleep mode) and turns the screen back on when you press it. (this uses a python script) jeroen2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70418 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113121 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
