The server isn't listed in my UPnP list on Foobar but it's a small problem as AudioStation is providing a connection. Meanwhile I want to run it in the bridge mode, with a clean configuration. I mapped these ports Container : TCP 3483 -> local TCP 3483 Container : UDP 3483 -> local UDP 3483 Container : TCP 9000 -> local TCP 9000 Container : TCP 9090 -> local TCP 9090 What's wrong with it? The really strange thing is that the Debian distrib in the image DNS part is working well. I don't get why Perl can't work right with the DNS. I think squeezelite talks to ALSA rather than pulseaudio? For the former, you'll have to map the host's /dev/snd devices to your container (device add .. unix-char ..), for the latter you'll have to forward PulseAudio's unix socket. It's a miracle! Give that man a Blue-Peter-Badge (for non-UK people, such a badge is a good thing)! Do you have a Windows machine in your network? If yes ... can it see the music folder on the NAS? ... if still yes then you could try switching your pCP machine to use CIFS instead of NFS (and change the fields as shown in the online help). I suggest this because sometimes using CIFS (Microsoft) is easier. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] best practice LMS & squeezelite in Proxmox LXC / sound issues
I installed squeezelite on the host system, which is working fine; so you're right, this is sufficient for evaluating the onboard sound. But I would like to run squeezelite also in a container or VM, to have everything tidy... So my problem in connecting soundcard to the container still exists. Anyone did that already? ce-bra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115042 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
