yes, your advise did solve the boot issue. Thank you for that. It only
took me some time to find the place where to change this in the
configuration.. :o

on my R-Pi v3 I use a USB memory stick as boot device. With pCP 3.5.0
this works, but with 4.0.0 b6 this does not work. I tried both a clean
install and an upgrade from 3.5.0. It seems that 4.0.0 uses hardcoded
paths to the /dev/mmcblk device instead of the partition ID.
