Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] PiCorePlayer - info screen when off?
I figured out how to copy the files over for custom clock and screen switcher. They both show installed under applets. Screenswitcher is working. Custom clock is now showing menu options, Like Extras >> custom clock But clicking on an any custom clock menu does nothing. I have superdatetime installed. Also, it seems I need license manager installed or screenswitcher does not work. bengaldave's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4605 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113107 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

I would be happy to copy over any files but no permissions? Where directory should I use to copy files over? I tried this directory, but do not have permissions on it. ~/.jivelite/userpath/applets/CustomClock also no permissions here /opt/jivelite/share/jive/applets I cannot copy any files into it, as this directory is owned by root and I am logging in by user tc. Where would I place custom clock files? Additionally, is there a bug with installing CustomClockHelper and latest piCoreplayer using the install applets from the jive interface ? bengaldave's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4605 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113107 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

If not, you have to add it on LMS Web Gui: Settings>Advanced>Custom Clock Helper> under the first option, Clock Styles, click on the pulldown and select 'SDT Weather Fahrenheit - Touch' (for example)';under 'name' you can change the name;models - check jivelite'800x480' Click Apply stereoptic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53162 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113107 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

I am brand new to the picoreplayer and maybe I missed some steps. If I install superdatetime plugin for example I see it in the extras menu, but not as a screensaver. I added custom clock helper, and I have the license manager from back in the day, but it does not appear on the picoreplayer. This is a pi4, with the official raspberry pi display. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] PiCorePlayer - info screen when off?
I can install/reinstall custom clock and license manager from the applet installer. I then save to SD, reboot the pi. But don't get the custom clock anywhere. I do however have issue connecting to mysqueezebox, so license manager may be unhappy. Maybe that's the issue? Didn't Erland release a license less version of his applets? I "install" (or reinstall) custom clock, save config to SD, reboot the pi, and don't get the custom clock anywhere. Unless I am missing something in the config? Every machines fail. I cannot seem to reach mysqueezebox from LMS, so license manager fail, could that be it? Weather for sure, but not sure about a news feed. Need to look at the custom clock applet. and then Plugin: Custom clock helper. SuperDateTime will do weather.
