Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer with Jivelite on Pollin Touch TFT

2017-02-22 Thread vdr-box

Okay.

I download the Skin PiGridSkin and after a restart of jivelete i see in
skins
the point "Grid Skin (1024x600)".

I write the config with the Menu "Settings write to SD Card" and after a
reboot
everything is fine.

Perfect.

Many Thanks at all.

The next is the Touch Screen, but for this i make a separate thread.

My first test, i clone your git and copy them to
~/.jivelite/userpath/applets.

No, just the two skin subfolders I mentioned. You'd actually not even
need to copy the images folder. Only the text and lua files. And watch
the "jivelite for picoreplayer" thread as Ralphy is updating the
jivelite image every now and then.

But after a reboot of the Pi i lose this downloaded files. How can i fix
it?

There's a piCorePlayer menu in jivelite which allows you to backup the data.

Iirc piCorePlayer has most of its filesystem in ram to save SD card
wear, there are more procedures required to make file changes permanent.

2017-02-22 Thread Michael Herger

i run an Raspberry Pi2 with an 7" Touch Display.
Its a display with 1024 x 600 resolution. The Skin in Jivelite is to
small for the display.

Does it not work at all, or not for best results?

I added a 1024x600 grid layout a few days ago, but it's not available
for piCorePlayer yet (unless you want to install it manually using scp
etc.). I should probably apply the same changes to the Joggler skin, too...

If you are comfortable tinkering on the command line: get the latest
JogglerSkin and PiGridSkin from
https://github.com/ralph-irving/jivelite/tree/master/share/jive/applets
and copy them to ~/.jivelite/userpath/applets on the pCP. Then restart
jivelite.

[SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer with Jivelite on Pollin Touch TFT

2017-02-22 Thread vdr-box

Hello,

i run an Raspberry Pi2 with an 7" Touch Display.
Its a display with 1024 x 600 resolution. The Skin in Jivelite is to
small for the display.

The distro Max2play has a patch for the Jivelite Skin.

Is it possible to integrated this patch in piCorePlayer?

Regards vdr-box
