Title: 3871-1 Data Modeler Duration: 6 Months Farmington Hills, MI Job Description: Design, architect, implement and support enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. Assist in the design and implementation of business rules with approved technologies. Defines user interface and functional specifications. Crucial support in creating new standards and procedures related to end user and internal interface development. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data, testing methods and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse. Conduct research into new data warehouse solutions and determine feasibility. Assist in creating development standards. Perform application (Logical) database administration tasks including: collaborating with application development teams on schema, index, stored procedure and SQL design; coordinating physical implementation activities with hosting providers; ensuring database resources are used efficiently and effectively, implementing monitoring and reporting capabilities as needed to meet operational requirements; and implementing DDL and DML changes as requested in support of application initiatives. Architect and maintain the Logical Data Model and Physical Data Model for Business Intelligence. Skills: Candidate will work with design team to help alter and optimize the current application database for newly created functionality.
