*Location: **PALO ALTO, CA*

*Duration: 6 months+*



*Need visa copy and photo id for submission*



*Role name  Database Administrator*

*Role Description  *

*Able to deliver database administration with in given SLAs*

*Competencies  SQL Server Database Administration  Experience
(Years) 4-6*

*Essential Skills  *

*Strong DBA knowledge*

*Self driven*

*Able to work in given SLAs  *

*Desirable Skills Good Communication is must*



*Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills*

·Understanding of database design principles, logical and physical
data modeling and normalization methodologies.

·Expert in SQL scripting, construction of highly complex queries
and refactoring techniques.

·Strong working knowledge and design of SQL objects such as tables,
keys, data types, stored procedures, views, user defined inline and
multi-statement functions, database and table triggers.

·Experience with resolving deadlocks and excessive blocking, and
monitoring event severity levels.

·Familiar with Database Source Control tools like Visual Studio
Database Projects, SVN, Ankh, and Git.

·Experiences with networking fundamentals and middleware
technologies.

·Familiar with Data Warehousing and Data Mart best practices, and
OLTP/OLAP databases.

·Database migration and upgrade expert (in-place and side-by-side).
