TITLE: IOS Mobile Specialist LOCATION: Dauphin County Duration: Long term RATE:Open Face to facepreferred/local and nearby areas only JOB DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate will serve as a programmer/developer for iOS Mobile Computing solutions .The candidate will serve as a software developer for the projects to develop and deploy the comprehensive custom software solutions for the iOS-based mobile devices to be utilized while assisting with mentoring staff assigned to the projects. The projects will involve working with the iOS mobile development tools, relational databases, and web service-oriented client/server architecture. The selected candidate is expected to understand the business and technical requirements, and implement the solutions based on those requirements. The incumbent should be quick at learning newer versions of the SDK, as they are made available by Apple. Required: Full iOSSDLC experience as an application developer Experience with Object Oriented development Experience with iOS SDK and Objective-C Experience with Core Data framework Experience with iOS Auto Layout system and UX refinement Experience with Core Data framework Experience with relational database development Experience in architecting developing mobile web applications in enterprise settings Experience w/ consuming utilizing RESTful JSON web services synchronization ofdata captured on a mobile device w/ enterprise backend apps/DB Experience with HTML5 development and JavaScript frameworks Experience developing hybrid applications and applications on multiple mobile computingplatforms Experience with blocks and notifications Familiarity with Swift programming language Specific Duties: 1)Serve as a developer of n-tierapplications using iOS SDKs and mobile development tools. 2)Develop, test, and deploy userinterface, service tier and data tier components for complex applications,including server-based web applications and mobile applications in a timelymanner. 3)Participate in the full SDLC process(including coding) of iOS application solutions, including Objective C, HTML,JSON, XML and web services. 4)Participate in design and coding ofdatabase objects in relational databases such as IBM DB2, including queries,stored procedures, views, triggers, etc. 5)Participate in design and coding ofapplication-embedded, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting solutions. 6)Comprehensive understanding andexperience designing, developing and testing for the Apple iOS platform ismandatory. 7)Expert level knowledge is requiredof using iOS frameworks related to UI, Core Data, storyboards, web services,security/keychain, camera integration, asynchronous/background processing,multitasking, etc. 8)Must have good knowledge of commondesign patterns (like MVC, delegation, target-action) and Cocoa layers relatedto Touch, Media, OS and Services and Objective/C and iOS principles of memorymanagement, notifications, blocks, categories, etc. 9)Meet with end users and technicalstaff of all types to gather business and system requirements. 10) Provide technical assistance andassist with mentoring of staff assignedto the project. 11) All projects follow the Agile sprintmethodology, and the incumbent should be comfortable with daily standups,sprint grooming and planning activities, integration testing, and UAT. 12) Work independently and as a part of ateam.
