If you have a matching profile, please send me the updated resume along with contact details at the earliest. *Job Title* SQL Developer *Project Location* Wakefield MA *Duration* 6 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI::Telephonic followed by Face to Face* * Description* The Senior Support Programmer will research, design, document, and modify queries and data from many sources in order to efficiently and effectively provide relevant reports to requestors across the company. The first priority for this role is to provide marketing information, although other priorities will also be accommodated. The role develops organization-wide reports by advising requestors and maximizing the use of data available from Improvis and other sources. Activities may include prototyping reports, scrubbing data or working with requesters to define what is possible. *Responsibilities* - Design, develop, analyze, test, modify, implement, document and maintain complex queries from Improvis by utilizing, SQL Commands, Views, Stored Procedures, Excel or other tools. - Provide basic and user training and support related to reports and data research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of all program users. - Write programming scripts to provide data from Improvis to end users to make business decision - Produce ad-hoc queries/reports to meet initiatives. - Assist with critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas. - Identify and research data issues; work with teams to correct or improve issues - Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines. - Analyze user problems and make suggestions for the prevention of future problems. - Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the IS Applications Manager. - Handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly. - Protect the confidentiality of patients and employees *Position Requirements* - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and job-related experience required. - Proficiency in a variety of programming languages including SQL, C # and Microsoft .Net tools. - Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans. - Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies. - Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. - Ability to interact positively and build rapport with functional groups, coworkers and/or external contacts. - A solid understanding of and experience with MSSQL, MSSQL Tools (SSIS, query analyzer and others), Structured Query Language, Visual Basic, Excel, databases, database structure and manipulating data. - Ability to work independently and organize work in a manner that ensures accuracy and efficiency. - Ability to demonstrate the capability to effectively and sensitively respond to the needs and concerns of the full range of users. - Excellent analytical skills. - Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with internal and external clients, peers, management, non-management and non-technical personnel. - Excellent customer service skills. - Keen attention to detail. - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to effectively document program changes.
