*Title: Senior Linux Systems Engineer/ DevOps* *Duration: 6 Months* *Location: La Jolla, CA* At Synthetic Genomics, Inc., we are dedicated to developing and commercializing genomic-driven solutions to address global challenges. We are currently seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to join our fast-growing, dynamic and collaborative team in La Jolla, CA. As a member of the Information Technology department at Synthetic Genomics, you will work as part of a team of systems administrators and DevOps engineers to implement and support our SaaS application and Distributed Job Queue. Candidate should be familiar with deployment pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, and Ansible. Should have solid systems engineering / operation experience. Able to participate in all phases of project development cycle including definition, architecture, design, scoping, planning, implementation and testing.
