Torrance Memorial Medical Center *Network Engineer/Analyst* Healthcare experience is a must. *POSITION PURPOSE*: Provides technical support on network hardware and software, network management software, network security, and data communications components of the Medical Center’s local and wide area networks. The network consists of hardware (hubs, switches, repeaters, routers, modems), cable, telco data circuits, Internet connectivity, protocols (TCP/IP), and management tools. *POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:* · Five years’ experience maintaining 1000+ node Switched Ethernet networks in a “no-downtime” environment. · Five years’ experience supporting current-version networking protocols such as TCP/IP and in a Cisco environment. · Experience with network management hardware and software. · Expertise with Microsoft Windows NT/2000 Server and Workstation operating systems. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or degree in related area. The following certifications are a plus: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
