Desired candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills. This individual will be expected to perform at an extremely high level with little learning curve and must thrive under pressure while enjoying working in a team environment. • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions • Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through Sprints • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business • Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required • Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team Skills Required: • Recent experience in MS SQL Server versions 2008/2012 • Expertise with SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) • Extensive knowledge with T-SQL • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MS SQL Server 2008/2012 • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts • Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics • SQL and relational DBMS knowledge, including data modeling and ERD • BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred • 2-3 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices • 2-3 years Microsoft SQL Server experience • 1-2 years SharePoint Portal installation, configuration and support experience • Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments • Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Job Responsibilities: • Support Public Access (eGov) SharePoint portal installation and configuration • Install and configure Production and UAT servers • SQL SSRS Reports and Queries • Implementation of automation scripts • Database issue resolution, backup and restoration • Develop product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders • Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries • Work with leadership to research, define, interpret, and analyze complex, unstructured technical database problems and recommend solutions, and implement them Thanks & Regards, *Tom Martin | Lead Recruiter* *IDEXCEL Inc*., 459 Herndon Parkway, Suite 11, Herndon, VA-20170. *Direct*: 703.230.2631 | *Fax:* 703.880.7584 *Email:* tmar...@idexcel.com | www.idexcel.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
