Must be detail oriented, have the ability to manage multiple projects and have strong time management skills *Responsibilities: * The DESTination program, a large, transformational, and multi-work stre am effort within Principal Global Investors (PGI) to replace our Portfolio Accounting system with associated business process and integration/data work, is looking to hire an experienced Release Manager You will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes and schedules for code through development, test, integration, UAT and production environments. The Release Manager job function works collaboratively with all participants in software development efforts and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their establish environments for code deployment. The Release Manager responsibilities also include: . Build the IT Release Calendar in working closely with the leadership teams from different work streams across the program to create a centralized view of all releases . Lead the effort of defining the IT strategic direction for release management tools for the program to ensure the process requirements of release management are built in . Assist in managing projects and inter-dependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured . Work with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments .
