At least 9+ years of total experience with minimum 2 years of experience in Hadoop ecosystem 2. Has strong Java background 3. Has written, tested and maintained multiple Map Reduce programs, can write a Map Reduce given the requirement 4. Thorough understanding of Hadoop ecosystem components, daily working with HDFS 5. Additional knowledge and experience with PIG, HIVE and/or OOZIE is preferable but not must 6. Experienced working at customer locations 7. Having a zeal for new technologies. Basic exposure to Spark and Scala would be added advantage 8. Having some exposure to Cloud architecture, particularly Amazon Web Services The role : 1. Developing, testing and deploying Map Reduce applications 2. Troubleshooting, fine tuning, optimizing existing Map Reduce applications 3.
