Responsibilities: · The individual will support Oracle databases as part of the Shared Services Team. The individual will be part of a global team which is responsible for administration of databases in the development/test/production environments. · The job requires a highly motivated individual with excellent analysis and problem solving skills. · The individual will be expected to interact with Enterprise Architects, Application Development Teams, Unix and Windows System Engineers, Service Managers and Project Managers to promote information sharing, coordinate enterprise information architecture and provide data management operations to ensure the security, quality, performance, and accessibility of the databases and directory structure. · Ability to administer advanced tuning, support and disaster recovery of an Oracle Database Soft Skills: · Able to effectively work independently or in a team environment · Able to maintain company and customer confidentiality. · Practices corporate and personal integrity on the highest level. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
