Re: Lock screen and animated gif

2022-12-20 Thread Antti Ilola via use-livecode
How about changing the mouse cursor. I found below about using a lock
screen.
" The only exception to this (freeze window) is the mouse cursor. It
continues to move with the mouse and any changes to the cursor icon (like set
cursor to busy) do appear."

Starting day Sunday.

If I was in a country where the convention is to start the week on a

Re: [RANT] Really annoying posts

2015-02-24 Thread Antti Ilola
I'm not fluent in English or even in Scottish, because I'm Finnish (two
n's). Still I think, I understood enough what Richmond told about
contemporary youth and I definitely agree.
I found that they discuss with phones and if it is not in Google its even
exists. Richmond, when it's time to change our nappies again, I think we
have to do it by ourselves.

get an avatar of Elvis in a little window who explains points of Livecode

Shame on you, Kevin; we want Elvis . . . let the protests begin :)

Re: LiveCode Commercial License

2014-09-18 Thread Antti Ilola

RunRev has never charged royalties. If you create an app with a licensed
copy of LiveCode, you can sell that app forever, even after your license
expires. However, after your LiveCode license expires, you will no longer
be able to release commercial copies of a newly built standalone, because
your copy of LiveCode would revert to the open-source version

I think this is true if you have a license version 6.0 onwards.
