Re: On-Rev : CSS with LC

2012-06-02 Thread Christian Langers
Hi there,

Merci pour les infos !

It worked, but I had performance issues, so I gave it up ; I was experimenting
with the base64encode technique for images in css. Browsers (surtout Mac) were
building up pages slower when using that technique on on-rev server...

Greets,

Christian

Yes but it's probably not the best way to go as long as the CSS
presentation's layer will always stay more easy to manage and update if it's
not included in the the application's logic provided by your LC-Server
 scripts and libraries stacks.

and why they don't.

I tried everything to get it run before posting here...

Damn, you must have some kind of coding siddhis !!

After you wrote me it worked...

Christian

 Christian,

That should work with LiveCode server with no problem. Just remember to set
 the HTTP headers correctly.

Just to let you know that, yesterday, I send them in my Syntax mode for
SubEthaEdit / Coda for working with .lc .irev server files.

Now colorization is available for Livecode Blocks in HTML docs...

You can download the mode when SubEthaEdit.com makes it available on their

or download it from my on-rev server : http://tinyurl.com/5rhh6xn

Re: [OT] Box.net free 50Gb for iOS 5 users

2011-10-28 Thread Christian Langers
I'm using Transmit without a problem ; I found the Finder way on some website
but trying it (on Lion) was unsuccessful for uploads.

Transmit on Mac is (for me) the best and easiest solution..

Cheers,

Christian

I believe it's read only though. I don't think the Finder will create

Visual effect transition from a card to another with sound on iOS

2011-06-24 Thread Christian Langers
Hello,

does anybody know of an elegant solution to have this transition done
simultaneously ?

I'm using this :

visual effect push left
if environment() is not development then iphonePlaySoundOnChannel
getSound(load), Transient, now
go next

In the development environment and in the simulator the transition with visual
effect and sound playing behaves as expected but on my device (iPhone GS - iOS
4.3.3) it doesn't.

You hear first the sound and then you get the visual effect...

??

Thanks,

Christian

Too bad :(

Thanks for your reply.

Perhaps RunRev has to expand to make all of their (basic) tasks/projects happen…

This is an old chestnut that comes up every so often. Unfortunately,
 LiveCode cannot
 export/save imported sound files.

This has been suggested by quite a few people over the years as a good
 thing; but, so far,
RunRev have not built this capability into their product.

 Thanks,
