Geronimo 3/OSGi example

2012-04-03 Thread Si Chen
Hi everybody,

We've developed an open source proof of concept application based on
Geronimo 3 beta 1 and OSGi called "opentaps 2 Notes". It's a simple but
useful application that allows you to write notes. The server side is with
Geronimo 3 beta 1, openJPA, and blueprint. The client side is all done
with HTML and Javascript.

You can try it out at notes.opentaps.com, and developer documentation is on
our wiki at Opentaps 2 <http://www.opentaps.org/docs/index.php/Opentaps_2>

Thanks!

how to make osgi services as REST services?

2012-02-28 Thread Si Chen
Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make osgi services available as
REST services easily? We've been coding them with org.restlet.*, and it
works well, but requires code to be written for each service. Is there a
way to deploy osgi services automatically as REST services?

Thanks.

Yes, I was thinking of openJPA.

Do you know if memcache is also supported?

Thanks so much.

Geronimo 3.0 release timing?

2011-04-01 Thread Si Chen
Hi,

I really like the new Geronimo 3.0 and your OSGi support. We'd love to use
it for the next version of opentaps!

Could anyone give me a rough idea of when 3.0 might be released?

Also, will 3.0M2 be released soon?
