Yes, if you (or your script) upgraded correctly, you would see "1.5.4"
there. Your current copy of guacd is from an older release.

You may want to test 1.5.5-RC1 instead. That's the current release
candidate for the upcoming 1.5.5 release. It's looking likely to be
promoted to release in the next couple of days:

Hello together,

I’m currently facing the problem that I can’t start RDP Sessions.

Looking in the syslog of the system I can see the following message:

Apr 2 21:00:04 guacamole guacd[709]: free(): double free detected in tcache 2

Apr 2 21:00:04 guacamole guacd[456]: Connection
"$54633721-ed2b-41ba-af1f-269c53f212b2" removed.

I’ve found a Bug that should be fixed in 1.5.4:
[GUACAMOLE-1259] Son of immediate double-free upon connecting to Windows RDP -
ASF JIRA (apache.org) <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1259>

I’m currently running 1.5.4.

I updated a few weeks ago (dist-upgrade and Gucamole) and after that everything
worked fine, but I think this might still be related?

Yeah, that bug should be long fixed. For sanity check, can you post the output
of "guacd -v" (/path/to/guacd -v)?

Error Message: double free detected in tcache 2

Hello together,

I'm currently facing the problem that I can't start RDP Sessions.

Looking in the syslog of the system I can see the following message:

Apr 2 21:00:04 guacamole guacd[709]: free(): double free detected in tcache
2

Apr 2 21:00:04 guacamole guacd[456]: Connection
"$54633721-ed2b-41ba-af1f-269c53f212b2" removed.

I've found a Bug that should be fixed in 1.5.4:
[GUACAMOLE-1259] Son of immediate double-free upon connecting to Windows RDP
- ASF JIRA (apache.org)

I'm currently running 1.5.4.

I updated a few weeks ago (dist-upgrade and Gucamole) and after that
everything worked fine, but I think this might still be related?

If you need more information, I'm happy to provide it.

Best regards,
Colin
