Re: [MASSMAIL]Re: Problems renaming Openmeetings

2019-09-11 Thread Maxim Solodovnik
Actually the process of OM renaming is documented here:
https://openmeetings.apache.org/WebappNamePath.html
You should stop OM before renaming
Then start after everything is done

Renamed Om is available here https://om.alteametasoft.com:8443/next/ for
example

Hey folks,

that is what I said. ;-) Renaming is not the same as a new installation.
The version doesn't matter in this part. If you install OM on the 18.04.
and try to rename afterwords...this shouldn't work either! You need to
correct all dependencies after renaming. ;-)

Hello Rene and Stefan, the problem was that when I renamed OpenMeetings folder
in the webapps folder in /opt/open502/webapps it used to not work, but that was
with Ubuntu Server 17.04; today I made a new installation on a Virtual Machine
with Ubuntu Server 18.04 and it seems that the problem was fixed with this new
OS. So anyhow thank you for your time. If something else comes out I will let

Hey @all,

I agree with René. This must be a problem with path-finding. Renaming is
not equal with installing in antoher directory.

Rene I'm using Ubuntu Server 18.04 and the problem was in Ubuntu Server 17.04,
when I renamed the openmeetings folder the Chat service stopped working, it
doesn't allow to use the camera and microphone and you couldn't use it to make
video conferences. We are making now some tests to the OM in Ubuntu Server
18.04 to see if it is solved with this newer OS version

Re: sharing programs/desktop

2019-09-11 Thread René Scholz

Hello Maxim,

I insert a new bool with name "auto.open.sharing" and set it true.
I reboot my OM-Server.

I share a screen and only the btutton appears at the viewer-browser -
same result as ever.

Have you any idea?

Best regards,

René

Hello Maxim,

I have install the Build 2931 of M3.
I can't find the Parameter "auto.open.sharing'" in the admin/config.

What I forget?

Best regards,

René

Build server checks every hour if there were commits and starts
the build
Every build has "Changes" section which can be examined (for ex. [1])
new build with this new feature will be available in ~1hour

 Hello All,

I'm expecting a daughter in upcoming days, so I have
even less free time
 than usual :)
I'll try to implement this configurable behavior before
M3 release

 Thanks for the JIRA :)
