Hello, Demo server works as expected: https://om.alteametasoft.com:8443/next/ You can't reproduce both issues on demo Since it has M4-SNAPSHOT installed, and both are already fixed in M4 :))) On Wed, 22 Apr 2020 at 02:58, ratatouille wrote: > > "Chamberland, Martin" schrieb am 21.04.20 um > 19:34:14 Uhr: > > > You correctly understand the first problem. > > I hope developers will be able to reproduce it on demo server and fix it. > > For us here, we cannot use demo server 5.0.0 M3, they look down for now. > > > > For our second problem, let's try to explain better. > > Suppose you are in a room, and camera is ON, you have your windows (CAMERA) > > open. > > You can see your image and there is upper bar in that windows. RE: 2 problems with 5.0.0 M3
You correctly understand the first problem. I hope developers will be able to reproduce it on demo server and fix it. For us here, we cannot use demo server 5.0.0 M3, they look down for now. For our second problem, let's try to explain better. Suppose you are in a room, and camera is ON, you have your windows (CAMERA) open. You can see your image and there is upper bar in that windows. On the right side of that bar, there is (see attached) 3 icons One refresh, One for Sound and the other is suppose to be for collapse or reduce the size of this windows. For now, that icon do NOTHING, I mean not collapsing that windows. 2 problems with 5.0.0 M3
[cid:banner1.jpg] Hi there, We are using ISO (installed) 5.0.0M3. It's working good, but we face two pr= oblems. I will try to explain my best in English. 1- With Winows 10 (firefox or chrome), if we close the left side bar = using the arrow to UNLOCK PANEL, it completely disappear and it's not possi= ble to get back. Using Debian 10.3 (Buster) with Chromium, the problem is not there. The si= debar goes all the way to almost hide, but there is still a small arrow tha= t we can use to make the bar visible again. 2- We can't collapse the windows from peoples in a room, if we click o= n the collapse (underline in the upper right corner), it's just lock the wi= ndows and not collapse it, normal it suppose to hide the camera image and = make that square windows just a small bar, it's not working. We test that f= rom Windows machine and Linux machine (chrome and firefox). Thank's in advance. Martin Chamberland

You are right with the second command. It is only valid if you have installed kurento as a docker container. As for the first one, it is valid for any distribution that uses systemd. I use it with Archlinux but I think that any updated distribution also has systemd El 21/4/20 a las 18:24, Maxim Solodovnik escribió: Those commands are for Ubuntu KMS is not dockerized in this case :) On Tue, 21 Apr 2020 at 23:22, Juan Antonio Moreno Carmona wrote: I use the unit file included openmeetings.service with a little editing. Whenever I reboot I have to restart kurento and tomcat manually. OM should reconnect to KMS (please file JIRA, I'll check it) According to limit login - I'm afraid it might produce much more bad scenarious What version of KMS are you using? Can you privately create the user for me and send direct link to the course? Hello! Where can I read about permissions like the differences of moderator and presenter for example. What can each type do? What does "Group files are restricted" mean in the group configuration? Andreas
Re: [DISCUSSION] Plans for the next release
Hi All, i would ask for a "anonymous user". - i create a invitation Link - i send it to someone - if "someone" uses the link, he can enter a room without registration It would be fine to have a centralized parameter, how long a "anonymous invitation" is valid or this time is created while creating the invitation link ? I don't have 5.0.0 running on a CentOS 7 right now. But I'll take the time this week to take it online. First have to be familiar how this works with KMS. Then I can tell. I have version 4,x running on an old openSUSE server and there it plays nice. Andreas

KMS Crash
Hello, today I had a manager (a little older one) who try the first time "such modern thing like a online-conference". I sent him an invitation-email and he made three (or more) times a doube-click on the link. I see his name a lot of in the client-list. After that I see the red error "no multimedia" (or sth. like that). I restarted KMS and Tomcat and all is OK again. Is it possible to avoid that? Maybe only one connection per invitation? Best regards, René
