Re: [DISCUSSION] Additional room menu

2020-10-03 Thread Daniel Ascher
I think it's a great idea to have the options suggested for arranging the
video pods. The addition of the "sidebar mode" would be a very useful
feature, allowing flexibility regarding the size of the whiteboard and not
having to worry about the video pods being over it. I'm a little bit
confused about whether this thread relates to these issues or some other
aspect of the menus.

Thanks. Dan

I believe this should be possible

You will need 10 nodes

this 10 nodes should be powerful enough to handle all multimedia streams

and each should have good ethernet channel

Thanks.

I would like to add top level menu
Current Actions menu contains 9 items for regular users and 5 for moderator
I believe new items should go to new top level menu

We will discuss video pods improvement in other mail thread
I would like to do it later, after 5.1.0 release :))

to be fair I'm not an expert in SIP
I do have old instruction for Asterisk I hope it can be partially re-used
I have no idea what FreeSWITCH is and how it can used
Hopefully I can complete this task, and maybe someone can improve my code
