Dashboard is not being loaded because of the issue with notification API
This is why I'm asking about sign in page (it shouldn't be affected)

2021-10-04 Thread seba.wag...@gmail.com
While 6.2.0-7.0.0 has bootstrap 5.1 => still doesn't load the dashboard on
/next using iOS. And this only happens on the altemeasoft demo server
instance.

If I test it on https://server-30-3.om-hosting.com/openmeetings/ => which
is also 6.2.0-7.0.0 this issue does not exist.

Re: iPad won't load OM

2021-10-04 Thread seba.wag...@gmail.com
Its also not an issue with using the OAuth on iOS.

The issue on iOS on the demo servers is that
in v6.1.0 you can't even get the page to load the login form
in /next 6.2.0 you can load the login page, but you are not able to load
the dashboard (using the NORMAL) login

But the script errors suggest those errors have to do with the social
logins being enabled NOT actually using them.

I cannot reproduce those errors in a blank installation of v6.2.0/Snapshot
when disabling the social login on iOS.

But I've been testing the iOS for Safari and iOS for Chrome (on the
latest version of iOS 14.8) with the latest upcoming release (OM 6.2.0).
I've set up a blank test server with v6.2.0 at
 https://server-30-2.om-hosting.com/openmeetings/ to test.

Funny enough iOS/Safari and iOS/Chrome now can publish the Mic
successfully. And you can hear it on the receiving side. Which is good.

But there is a new issue that prevents publishing the Video Stream
(which also blocks the Audio stream, except you do audio-only).

I've found some pointers, and created some tickets:
 https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-2679
 https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-2678

It seems we are using an Javascript API
 https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Notification/requestPermission#browser_compatibility
which is not supported on iOS (Neither Safari nor Chrome) but only on
macOS. That might be the root cause (TBD).
