IOS devices / iPad / iphone

2019-06-19 Thread Denis Noctor
Hi there everyone,

While I would always encourage a moderator / presenter to use a laptop or
desktop when using OM - and while it would not really be practical for a
student to use an iphone (real estate is small so you can even view user
names), do you think future Chrome updates will support audio and video on
IOS. I have a 2nd or 3rd Gen iPad that can't be updated to the latest
version of Chrome (75+), so I can't test this, however, I have tested it on
my iphone 6, which uses Chrome (version 75.0.3770.70) but audio and video
don't work, I also get errors (TypeError: Undefined is not an object
(evaluating 'navigator.media.Devices.enumerateDevices') similar to those
before setting up my site to use ssl certificates (https)... same result on
https://om.alteametasoft.com:8443/next/

Has anyone successfully been able to use OM on an IOS device (using Chrome)?

While user names are not visible, I've also noticed that a user can not
drag the video pod to another part of the screen. Everything else seems to
work okay.

All the best. Denis
