python-phoenixdb 0.5 has been released

2016-11-03 Thread Lukáš Lalinský
Hello,

I have released new version of the Python client library for working with
Phoenix. Thanks to Mark Heppner it now uses the Protocol Buffers interface
instead of JSON, which fixes some issues with Phoenix 4.8. Additionally,
this version supports both Python 2 and Python 3.

Since these were fairly big changes, it would be great if anybody using the
old versions could give this a try and let me know if they find any
problems.
