development book (2009, Packt Publishing) which covers many of the newer
features of Struts 2.1.X.

S2.1-based end-to-end webapp development book rather than S2.1

Dave, it looks like your book is right around the corner! Is there a link to 
see the ToC, the main page doesn't seem to give a lot of details...

In my book, I am covering more about integration techniques with other 
libraries and technologies. The Struts 2 In Action book from Manning makes for  
a good reference and most of which is still relevant for Struts 2.1.
