Re: critical known issue Volume snapshot or VM Snapshot only one snapshot is working above 4.5 version to till now 4.8

2016-03-27 Thread Prashant Mishra
Only one snapshot is working ? Are you taking about the situation when you
try to create both parallely .In 4.5 limitation is one snapshot per host ,
other snapshot on same will be scheduled and execute in sequentially. But
in vmware you should be able to take parallel snapshot I am assuming you
have already set global setting accordingly .
Thanks
prashant

RE: Password reset, not work after adding new Guest IP Class

2016-03-27 Thread Sanjeev Neelarapu
Hi Cristian,

Can you please check /var/cache/cloud/passwords file in the router vm and see
if the CS generated password is present in it with guest vm ip address?

Hi,

Yes, i have basic zone configured on my ACS environment, also i was able
to see two networks on VR only after i did rebuild for the router.

        1 x IP class 158.X  /28
        2 x IP class 167.X  /28

     1. Rebuild router
     2. Removed VM's in order to retest a deploy on first (158.X)IP Class
     3. Deploy VM, everything works, also after this deploy i don't have
available IP's from this class (158.X)
     4. Deploy VM on secondary IP class (167.X) , password not working, i was
able to login on VM only with static password.
     5. Removed VM from class(158.X)
6 Deploy VM on (158.X)  Not working again

Please see the screenshots, i don't provided screenshot from VM when

Hi!

Did you add two networks with dhcp? what shows your guests routing table?
obviously two default gateways? did you check if your virtual router is
reachable from within the guest?

Re: Management IP Estimating

2016-03-27 Thread Prashant Mishra
1-2 IP for system vms ( ssvm+ cpvm), if you are not planning to spin more
than one system vm per zone
2-1 IP for router VM
3-And for each account one VR needed (in case of isolated n/w)

Plan accordingly

Thanks
prashant
