Hi all, The ASF has been announced as a participant organization for GSOC 2023. These are the existing potential ideas for GSOC 2023 so far. It is possible to create new ideas until the end of this week. If you are interested on creating new ideas, please create it as a Github issue and add the label ‘gsoc2023’ to it, or can ping me directly. To submit your idea please create a GitHub issue at the official ACS repository with label “gsoc23” (such as: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3Agsoc2023), we’ll later review and work with the ASF guys to make this list available for applications. Hi, You can do some checks in the control node. for example sudo /opt/bin/kubectl get nodes sudo /opt/bin/kubectl get pods -A sudo /opt/bin/kubectl describe pod kubernetes-dashboard-- -n kubernetes-dashboard I have no problem with creating cks clusters. -Wei On Tue, 14 Mar 2023 at 14:44, Sanjay Kumar wrote: > Hi Wei, > > I am able to do ssh but cluster is showing alerts state. > > root@CS01:~# ssh -p -i /var/lib/cloudstack/management/.ssh/id_rsa > cloud@103.192.198.23 > Linux k8s-test-cluster-control-186debc31f4 5.10.0-19-amd64 #1 SMP Debian > 5.10.149-2 (2022-10-21) x86_64 > > The programs included with the Debian GNU/Linux system are free software; > the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the > individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright. > > Debian GNU/Linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent > permitted by applicable law. > Last login: Tue Mar 14 13:40:18 2023 from 103.73.190.91 > > The programs included with the Debian GNU/Linux system are free software; > the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the > individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright. > > Debian GNU/Linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent > permitted by applicable law. > cloud@k8s-test-cluster-control-186debc31f4:~$ exit > logout > Connection to 103.192.198.23 closed. > root@ACS01:~# ssh -p 2223 -i /var/lib/cloudstack/management/.ssh/id_rsa > cloud@103.192.198.23 > Linux k8s-test-cluster-node-186debc6be7 5.10.0-19-amd64 #1 SMP Debian > 5.10.149-2 (2022-10-21) x86_64 > > The programs included with the Debian GNU/Linux system are free software; > the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the > individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright. > > Debian GNU/Linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent > permitted by applicable law. > Last login: Tue Mar 14 13:39:56 2023 from 103.73.190.91 > > The programs included with the Debian GNU/Linux system are free software; > the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the > individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright. > > Debian GNU/Linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent > permitted by applicable law. > > > > > On Tue, Mar 14, 2023 at 6:58 PM Wei ZHOU wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> >> You can ssh into the cks control node from the cloudstack management >> server. >> >> ssh -p -i cloud@ >> >> Here is an example: >> # ssh -p -i /var/lib/cloudstack/management/.ssh/id_rsa >> cloud@10.0.52.195 >> >> The path of id_rsa is different on the ubuntu/rhel management servers. >> >> You can also ssh into other cks nodes with different ports starting with >> 2223. >> >> -Wei >> -Wei >> >> >> On Tue, 14 Mar 2023 at 13:14, Sanjay Kumar wrote: >> >> > Hi Wei, >> > >> > Could you please help me out on this? Re: Kubernetes stuck in the starting state
Hi, You can ssh into the cks control node from the cloudstack management server. ssh -p -i cloud@ Here is an example: # ssh -p -i /var/lib/cloudstack/management/.ssh/id_rsa cloud@10.0.52.195 The path of id_rsa is different on the ubuntu/rhel management servers. You can also ssh into other cks nodes with different ports starting with 2223. -Wei -Wei On Tue, 14 Mar 2023 at 13:14, Sanjay Kumar wrote: > Hi Wei, > > Could you please help me out on this? Re: Failed to start ACS Agent
While adding a host on cloudstack GUI, cloudstack will set up the host and start the cloudstack-agent service. You do not need to configure and start the cloudstack-agent before that. -Wei On Tue, 14 Mar 2023 at 13:10, Pratik Chandrakar wrote: > The ACS Agent service is not started, therefore I haven't added it from the > ACS management console. > > On Tue, Mar 14, 2023 at 5:27 PM Wei ZHOU wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > Did you configure agent.properties manually or add the host on GUI ? > > > > -Wei > > > > On Tue, 14 Mar 2023 at 12:33, Pratik Chandrakar < > > chandrakarpra...@gmail.com> > > wrote: > > > > > Hi all, > > > Referring to the subject, I am getting below error on Cloudstack Agent > > log > > > on fresh setup > > > > > > 2023-03-14 16:55:30,347 INFO [cloud.resource.ServerResourceBase] > > > (main:null) (logid:) Designating private to be nic brstor1 > > > 2023-03-14 16:55:30,352 ERROR [kvm.resource.LibvirtComputingResource] > > > (main:null) (logid:) uefi properties file not found due to: Unable to > > find > > > file uefi.properties. > > > 2023-03-14 16:55:30,393 INFO [kvm.resource.LibvirtComputingResource] > > > (main:null) (logid:) Failed to find keystore file: cloud.jks > > > 2023-03-14 16:55:30,393 ERROR [cloud.agent.AgentShell] (main:null) > > (logid:) > > > Unable to start agent: The UUID of local storage pools must be > non-blank > > > > > > Environment > > > ACS : 4.17.2 > > > OS : Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS > > > Hypervisor : KVM > > > > > > -- > > > *Regards,* > > > *Pratik Chandrakar* > > > > > > > > -- > *Regards,* > *Pratik Chandrakar* >

To correct this, shut down the usage server and delete the last job (the one that hasn't run yet).
