Re: Unable to deploy VM on new cluster/host (with xenserver)
Just so you know, zone wide primary storage is not currently supported by XenServer, that's why you had to add a dedicated primary storage for your XenServer Cluster. Unable to deploy VM on new cluster/host (with xenserver)
Hi, I have an existing setup with KVM that works fine, today I wanted to add a xenserver machine to it so I successfully created a new cluster (the existing one is with kvm) and then added a Xenserver host to it, so far so good, all lights green, but it errors out when trying to deploy the sample Xenserver template on it. Here's what I see in the logs: http://www.fpaste.org/50924/64369138/ Could not find suitable Deployment Destination for this VM under any clusters, returning. seem to say that I do not have any Xenserver-based clusters, which is false. On the Xenserver itself (6.2) I did not do much configuration, just switched from OVS to Linux bridge and rebooted. My network setup is very simple, I use a shared network with SG, everything on one physical link (basically a next, next, install thing). Do I need to create/install anything else on this Xenserver? I noticed the docs mention a certain CloudStack XenServer Support Package iso, but havent managed to find one for XS 6.2 ... Thanks, Lucian -- Sent from the Delta quadrant using Borg technology!
