The kernel and world I'm currently running are dated August 19. I just opened bug 2279 (make -j 3 buildkernel fails on UP) which seems like the same issue (http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2279). Does buildkernel work without '-j' ? Is this an UP system (ncpu=1)? (generally it is better to send bugs to bugs@; or just use the GUI) -thomas

I think this is the first time I've tried to build with -j, as it's the first time I've had enough memory to make it worth trying.
