Re: failed to run installer 3.2 on my Mac OS Sierra

2017-03-09 Thread Nemi
Thanks for input.

That's what I (tried to) say previously:
"It runs ok if one "manually" expands app package and by running
Contents/MacOS/MyAIRApp script"

Did you find out what is the root problem?
How to make it work normal, at first run, without silent fails?

Re: failed to run installer 3.2 on my Mac OS Sierra

2017-03-09 Thread jacobbullock
I recently had an issue running the installer on Sierra. It just failed
silently every time i ran it. To solve it, i right clicked on the Apache
Flex SDK Installer that was installed to Applications/Apache and then
selected 'Show Package Contents'. From there I browsed into MacOS directory
and just clicked on the installer in that directory and everything ran fine.

Re: MobileGrid Skins

2017-03-09 Thread quick6black
this question was asked a few posts above. Follow the link to the github
repository and use those skins in your project, they remove the shadow and
flatten the header. If you do not need the header then why not just use a
mobile list?

Re: How to install the latest build on Windows?

2017-03-09 Thread LesGWoolsey
OK. I found the answer. You have to use the cp command in Terminal. Just
dragging from the Finder doesn't work.

Re: Outdated AIR version in Apache SDK Installer

2017-03-09 Thread LesGWoolsey
OK. That worked! It now thinks the SDK is there. Now to see if it fixes the
problem...

Thanks

Re: MobileGrid Skins

2017-03-09 Thread LesGWoolsey
Any thoughts on how to get rid of the header shadow on MobileGrid or at least
change the color to white so it isn't visible. I got rid of the header by
setting it's height to 0 but the shadow remains.

Re: Outdated AIR version in Apache SDK Installer

2017-03-09 Thread Clint M
This happens to me if I use the mac finder to copy the air sdk in to the
flex sdk. It works if I use the command line utility cp.

Re: How to install the latest build on Windows?

2017-03-09 Thread LesGWoolsey
I tried using the installer but it only lists Air 24 Beta. I tried
Right-clicking and selected show dev builds but it still only shows Air 24
Beta - not Air 25 Beta.

Unfortunately it seems I need Air 25 in order to run under the IOS simulator
on the Mac.

Since I couldn't use the installer, I made a duplicate of a working SDK
folder and copies all the AIR25 stuff into it. When I try to add that to
Flex Builder, it says there is no SDK in the directory.
