[libreoffice-users] Calc column and row resize

2010-10-17 Thread Martin Cloete
Hi,

If you resize columns and rows in Calc by selecting what you want and
dragging the rows or columns larger save the document and then open it
again the sizes are as you saved it.

However if you select the rows or columns to be resized and double click
on the separator to automatically resize the selected. After saving and
opening the document again. The sizes are back to the default or
previously saved sizes.

I hope this makes sense.

I don't know if it is a bug or a feature. In any case it would be great
if if it did keep the automatically resized position.

Regards,

Martin

4. Empty spans instead of label text
5. .odt not being available as a Save As option when working on a

I am looking at OOo 3.2 and do not see any Web tools at all in either
the HTML or Writer mode.

Not sure as I do not have a problem saving as an html document. I do
like the option to save as all formats, which your screen shot does
not show. Are you using Beta2?

Looking at LibreOffice side by side with OOo Writer here, they are the
same with no missing items. What is missing on yours is the Language
indicator so that may be a local issue. Not sure where to look.

Same in OOo 3.2. Not sure this is a bug as the purpose is different, as
is with Writer and Calc. You can not see a 'Save as' ODS option in Writer.

Paul

You seem to indicate that you were able to do these things in OOo,
correct?

One more thing, and I should have said it before, why use a word
processor to write html when there are better FOSS programs available ?
