  Short answer: no.
Long answer: already provided (uninstall OO, install LO).

But to clarify, at least IME, LibO picked up all my OO preferences,
populated its profile with my OO settings, etc. So it was functionally like
 an upgrade.

No clue.

However, you asked about the 365 second delay by postgrey; that is
simply a setting in postgrey:
http://linux.die.net/man/8/postgrey
--delay=N greylist for N seconds (default: 300)
You can set it for whatever you wish if you are in control of that
application. You'll have to ask Florian if it was reset to 365 or some
other setting in mlmj.

I think the latency seems to have been sorted out. Thanks!

[libreoffice-users] Libreoffice 3.3.1 crashes with erratic behaviour

2011-03-10 Thread Mariangela Petrizzo
Hi, since some weeks I'm experiencing writer libreoffice an unexpected
error: closes when I press a button (when writing for example, or a
mouse's click), or save, or by clicking the icon to open file. It
plays at random behavoiur but much more often when I work a long time
to open LibreOffice in the background.

Work in Ubuntu 3.3.1 LibreOffice 10.10 and use the Spanish package.
Another behavior I've seen is that although the package has in
Spanish, some internal submenus (like the contents of the field date
for example) are in a different language, in my case something like
Romanian.
Can you help me? how I can provide further information on these errors?

I have reviewed the archives of this list but have not found a similar
report to my problem, although I found it on a list of ubuntu,
whithout a solution by the way.

thanks in advance

No, not yet. I believe that LO is shipped with Python 2.6, LO does not
yet use Python 2.7, which is the last of the 2.n series.

[libreoffice-users] Outline Numbering

2011-03-10 Thread gmanrpi
Dear All,
I am an attorney and I was recently working on an Operating Agreement for
for a limited liability company and I was experimenting with using outline
numbering to number to effectively, and efficiently do some of the things I
needed for numbering of Articles and sections/subsections of my Document. I
kind of ran into a brick wall with the following three problems. Granted
these are stylistic and not, really functional per se but I don't think the
functionality is there in LO, and it should be.

1) If I use Roman Numerals for my Article numbers my child outline members
are numbered using roman numerals for the show parent numbering even when I
select Arabic numerals for my section.
EXAMPLE:
I want:

ARTICLE II
ORGANIZATION

2.01 Formation

I get:

ARTICLE II
ORGANIZATION

II.1 Formation

Is there an existing, easy not bend over backwards way to accomplish the
want?

2) That same example above illustrates my other problems. Numbering styles,
since no Article should have more than 99 sections, I would like there to be
a leading zero. I poked around in the character styles but no real help was
to be found. This seems like a fairly easy thing to add. The danger is of
course turning the Writer portion of LO into a Calc cell properties dialogue
(intimidating for the casual user).

3) Once Outlining is going, I would like the section number to non-bold, and
the section name to be bold. If I try to create a new style after the
section numbering, the darn thing kills my numbering. Or if I try to bold
the text by selecting it all it bolds my numbering. These are unintuitive
results. I also do realize the cases where the reverse could be true. My
example above illustrates the second case here.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, and if there is no easy way I
will post a feature request bug/bug report for each.

Joseph A. Sochet, Esquire
