Working in Writer I tried to do a find and replace and turn the 2 into superscript. But I could not figure out how that works. I ALWAYS got m2 as superscript, even I selected only 2 and then format - superscript. (after I while of trying I gave up and replaced those number manually) What is the trick required to turn 2 into superscript? But ONLY in m2 and not all 2, since there were lots of other numbers too. I think this is simple: open character map in windows (you're in Windows, aren't you?), copy the superscript two in the clipboard Go to Writer, Search and replace, put search m2 and replace m(paste the superscript after the m), then command replace/replace all. The goal here was to find a solution for similar situations in the future (so the ASCII character solution is not really useful since it applies only to superscript 2 and 3...). The idea was to quickly Find and Replace through extensive documents (so clicking one character at a time isn't really efficient...) KISS methods are the best. And the solution provided by Brian Barker fits perfectly in that category but at the same time provides a solution for ANY similar situation and it is extremely fast and accurate. http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/replace-normal-font-with-superscript-tp4075982p4076051.html Pedro -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/replace-normal-font-with-superscript-tp4075982p4076409.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Re: [libreoffice-users] Installing Extensions.
Do you have the quick launch option checked/available? For both Windows and Linux, that option causes the Extension Manager's extension updating process to fail. I do not remember what the error message was for that. Also, have you tried to open the file with LO within the file manager instead of within LO itself? Re: [libreoffice-users] False Positive?
Hi :) Yet another advantage of OpenSource. To get Norton to take notice it will probably take tens of thousands of people writing in to grumble. So it would help if quite a few people on this list could grumble as that might be enough to tip the balance whereas for just 1 person to write in sometimes feels like a complete waste of time. With OpenSource it only takes 1 person to grumble, and then a bit of luck to catch a dev's eye when they aren't inspired to work on something else. Extra grumbles don't make much difference and might even be counter-productive. Re: [libreoffice-users] Label Printing in LO Writer
Isn't spacing the gap between the labels. Spacing is ambiguous, pitch is not. Re: [libreoffice-users] False Positive?
I do not know of anyone locally that uses Norton's A.V. suite. I use Comodo [like the dragon] for the free Internet Suite. I do not know how hard it would be to remove a false-positive, but I have been using it since I started using Vista. Now it gets installed on every system I get my hands on that needs a working suite of security packages. Now - can you work around a false-positive with Norton's? I know that there is some with Comodo, more with the firewall than the a.v. but it is there somewhere. I just do not use Windows much anymore to need it for the a.v. part. Re: [libreoffice-users] Re: Corrupt Installer Errors??
I collect every non-movie-character penguin stuffed animal as I can find. I think they are cute, for some odd reason. Still, it would be interesting to see more Tux Penguin items being sold somewhere so you could have a Tux on your desk or door, or somewhere. Then if the ask why you have a pengiun there, you could tell them. Actually, I found severl hundred penguin images that have the character dressed in super hero and other costumes. I even have a self made poster stating that my place is defended by a Penguin Defence Squad with about a dozen costume character penguines that are dresses in such a way that I would not want to have a bunch of humans dress liked that I had to go up against, even if a few look more Halloween costume than real type people would wear.
