Re: [libreoffice-users] LO suddenly very slow

2016-01-15 Thread John R. Sowden
I tried that. That computer has LO Version 4.2.8.2. Same problem,
started at about line 225. Took over a minute to bring up the help menu
after clicking help. It took another 30 or so seconds to close the
window with the version number, so either something in my sheet is
causing a cpu slow down, memory hog, etc. or ...?

I don't know if I need to "compact" it, although there is nothing in

[libreoffice-users] Bulleted and Numbered List graphic not normal

2016-01-15 Thread E.W.
When copying and pasting an article into Write (latest version), the
bulleted list or numbered lists show a ball with a 10 on it instead of
the plain black dot graphic. Even Numbered Lists are the 10 ball.
How do I change the default graphic for the list 'dot'? The first
graphic for the lists is that little black ball with a 10 on it.. it
looks like a 10 ball for pool.
If I can't change the default graphic, how can I delete that graphic..
just get rid of it?

Where is the graphics for the lists?

Thanks,
E.W.

This list doesn't allow attachments. So we couldn't see anything.

From what you write it sounds like a virus… but I have really little to no
clues.

2016-01-15 Thread Doreen Howes
I am not sure whether this is the correct address to use but, if not,
perhaps you could forward it on to somebody who can help me sort out my
problem. I attach a screenshot of an error message I am getting when
trying to open a number of my documents with various endings, e.g. odt,
htm, eml. C directory is of course the one normally used so I cannot
understand what is going wrong. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Apply master and slave fields to the subform. No macro required. For
more than A=B AND X=Y bindings, you can bind the subform to a parameter
query and link paramA=X AND paramB=Y while paramA and paramB can be used
with all kinds of functions and operators.

Re: [libreoffice-users] Linking a Form to another table

OK - I have found the answer to this problem myself here...

Hi All

Am still trying to connect my existing 'Input Form' to a different Table.
Been busy so got round to trying it again today!!

Now when I try to link to an existing Database I get the error "The
JBDC Driver could not be loaded".

The Class is "com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" which worked before.

Any idea what is wrong or what I can check - I'm lost!!

Thanks
