ftp://fedora9gcc.dyndns.org/gary.zip Has 3 little spreadsheets. 8969 03-12-2017 03:27 FINDCODE.ods 14959 03-12-2017 05:04 casematch.ods 12025 03-13-2017 03:38 sortissue.ods That address some solutions I came up with playing with how I understood the issues, which might be wrong, but these seem to work as I see it. Tried pasting the cells, and they look fine in the email I sent, but were totally screwed up by the list? Then tried taken a screen shot, but those emails never seemed to show up, and no message that they were rejected? Put this file on one of my college ftp servers, so if someone takes a look and sees if it works or not, otherwise. I'll just stop messing with it. Re: [libreoffice-users] regular expression for calc
If the code you are looking for only occurs once per cell you could use find() or search() against each cells to determine if the code is present then countif() the results where greater than zero. Wow, yes, that sounds the sort of thing. It would need to be customisable, I'm not sure that the sequence used for the transliteration of hieroglyphs would necesarily be catered for 😊 Gary On Sun, 12/3/17, leleu wrote: Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] sort order To: users@global.libreoffice.org Date: Sunday, 12 March, 2017, 18:07 see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_collation_algorithm now the problem is "where is the "collation algorithm" of calc ? Re: [libreoffice-users] sort order
Got it! I can replace the ''A" in my "Aa" with Greek alpha (or with Russian 'A') and it works perfectly, with the minor exception that the non English characters look as if they have come from a different font. But I can live with that, I think it's the best solution possible.
