I think you are confusing copyright with

citing sources does not give you the right to reuse copyright material.

have been trying to get it working for over 14 hours.

Suggestion
Virtualize windows and solve your problem :)

First, from past experiences, It took awhile to get it to boot again
from the DVD drive. Then I use a Live CD to partition the 1.0 TB
drive. Currently it is trying my next try.

Windows did not like having 1 TB as a single drive. Then I made a
small FAT32 partition before a 250GB Windows partition. Windows
finally installed.

Next I had to work with the remaining space into 3 partitions,
creating the following - "/", "/home", and Swap. "/" was set to about
40 GB which I hope is enough. "/swap" is about 2 GB at the end of the
drive. The rest, about 740 GB is now set for "/home". This is the
first time I figured out how to make the "/" OS system and the "/home"
in different partitions.

I do not know how many times the system would only boot to Win10. I
did not lose much data as the last time. Most of the files were
copied to the 6TB "storage" desktop.

SO

I would like help trying to stop this issue now. Since I do not have
the same problem[s] with my Gateway NE56R12u, I think it might be the
ASUS laptop or the fact it has a 1 TB drive instead of 500 GB on this
Gateway - which I am typing from the Ubuntu partition.

Anyone who can help, you can use either this

well, it is past midnight and I have still an hour or two to get both
Windows 10 and Ubuntu-MATE 16.04 LTS set up enough that I can transfer
the files/data to the partitions. Right now, Windows 10 is running
and I added only the printers and Firefox browser to it. Ubuntu is
installing the basic packages I need to run, but I will wait till I
get some sleep to install the printers and the large list of packages
including a much newer version of LibreOffice.

[libreoffice-users] Re: Simple way to draw graphs ?

2017-08-16 Thread Gilles
Found it:

1. Double-click on the chart
2. Format > Axis > Y Axis
3. In the Scale dialog, uncheck Automatic for the Major/Minor interval
(count), and assign "1"
4. OK.

Thanks !

Thanks, I don't know where to click: "Select the axis" → In the data in the
grid? Somewhere In the Wizard? On the graph in the grid?

Re: [libreoffice-users] Re: Simple way to draw graphs ?

2017-08-16 Thread Remy Gauthier
Hi,

You can adjust the scaling of number values by formatting the axis.
Select the axis (click on one of the numbers) on the graph, then right
click and select Format Axis... On the first tab (Scale), you can
unselect the "Automatic" scaling for the major and minor intervals and
then place the value of your choice.

I hope this helps.

Rémy Gauthier.

using backspace twice normally leads to the end of the previous list
item. But in my case, I was just stuck. The current list item just
didn't disappear...

Depending on the project. Think of a movie with lots of secondary actors
like "customer1..., or zombie1... (in some movies they speak)"...

You're right! Today it works. I guess that I managed to misconfigure
something else with some definitely buggy side-effect. For example,
this time I had a line with "default style" left below my part with the
"new style". I sucked it up with the delete key so that never anymore
LibreOffice showed "default style" in the toolbar. However, even though
it showed "new style", the tabs and the indention were gone for that
line. A second markation as "new style" did correct this issue. I found
tons of those bugs everywhere. Quite messy state LibreOffice is into

However, many thanks! You made my day!

Can Calc plot an empty x/y graph with just the labels on the two sides and
grid, like this:

https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/278295/how-can-i-draw-an-empty-plot

And if it can export it as a vector graphic, I could open it in a paint
application and draw the curves manually without trying to guess the
original maths.

JFYI, I dowgraded to 5.2.7 but the problems seems to persist.
I did it in a hurry so I need to look deeper to confirm it and eventually
test previous versions (portable ones this time :/ )

I´ll post back when I have something solid to share.
