Re: [libreoffice-users] output formats.
Hi Chris, For master documents: File → Export could give a *.odt-Document Save the file this way, reopen it and save it again in *.docx. I would prefer to export to *.pdf. No problems here since a long time with German Base Handbuch: 13 chapters, all the same styles. Export this very often when publishing of next version will arrive. [libreoffice-users] output formats.
Hi, First thank you for answers to previous questions. Took some fiddling but it all worked. Phil, that trick with the page numbers was neat. New problem. The Master Document works great for assembling. But publishers and editors want DOCX files. The virtual document you get from the Master Document method can only be saved or exported as ODMs, txt, PDF or EPUB. Writer complained when I tried EPUB. PDF work but when I tied to covert with Calibre Library everything past the first page lost all formatting. Sometimes something in one document file format won't translate into another. But the document format needed here is pretty simple and straight forward. I don't know what's going on. Is there a way to get this assembled thing back into DOCX? -- Chris Johnson rchristopherjohn...@gmail.com Ex SysAdmin, now, writer /Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. [libreoffice-users] Right Mouse Click Problem
On the same Win 10 machine I have 7.4.0.0 beta1 installed in parallel with 7.3.4.2 (both x64). Right mouse clicking inside any 7.4 module (eg. right click on an open Writer document) does not open a context menu, 7.3.4.2 behaves as expected. I have tested on 2 other Win 10 boxes with the same result. I have searched Bugzilla and if a report about this issue this exists I have been unable to find it. Thank you. You don't "Save" individual styles, you create a document with the styles (Pages, Paragraphs, Characters, etc.) you require and save that document as a template. There is no big mystery or difficulty with creating, editing or using templates, just follow the information given in the Writer Guide. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy
