A couple of days I downloaden 'Kubuntu' and 'ubuntu' with the same torrent client. I only downloaded the neccessary amount (size) of packets as mentioned on the website (+/-740mb I think).
I don't know if this is usable information, but I have this problem only with libreoffice-torrents. On the download page the file is only 168MB big (=good estimation; file is actually 175,8 MB. But when I actually download the whole file, I just downloaded up to 519,7 MB. This is not a 'statistic' bug in Transmission. My Mac's build in activity monitor has registered the same amount of bandwidth... That's 3x the actual file size?! This also occurred with previous versions I download with Transmission/torrent. Kind regards, Joren Had a torrent do that before, but not one from LO. I was told there were a lot of "errors" in the packets of the torrent and the constant re-downloading of the packets to get ones that are error-free added to my file size the system stated I downloaded was almost 90% more than the actual file I ended up with. I wonder if you had a bad "torrent connection" so the system kept asking for data packets over again. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
