Everything remains stubbornly white. I right click on the page, select "Properties" then Background, Colour. But instead of filling the screen it leaves it white. Selecting other options on that dialog, such as Bitmap or Hatch still results in plain white. How can I change this? Re: [libreoffice-users] Double sided printing-again

Has there been any movement in the repair of this feature or are we still stuck with converting our documents to another format (.pdf) for proper handling? Thanks. tm Tony, I have two brother laser printers HL2030 and HL3150CDW and have no problems printing double sided in both windows (win 7) and Linux (manjaro). I find its just a question of setting the print up in printer properties for either manual (HL2030) or automatic (HL3150CDW) printing. In Linux I set up my printer defaults in CUPS. I never have to convert documents to pdf just to print them. You don't tell us what operating system you are using, what printer or what version of Libreoffice you have. Perhaps if you came back to us with a bit more information someone here would be able to give you more specific advice. Can anyone explain or help me fix this? A workaround is to fetch MS' Excel Viewer, then copy from that to a table in Writer for my document, but I would prefer to use LO for as nearly everything as possible. Has anyone else experience the same issue with the .deb install? No other linux .deb user has experienced the same? The bug reports indicate others have (with other language dictionaries as well), so I find it odd that nobody else on this list has. I have had this or a similar problem but with the 32 bit version of LibO rather than the 64 bit. I am running Xubuntu 12.04 and had LibO 3.6.0 installed. I installed 3.6.1.2 using sudo dpkg -i *.deb. Everything seemed ok. Then when Xubuntu reported some (system) updates I installed them and noticed an error message with respect to the LibO dictionaries, but these were the 3.5.4 versions! Following this the dictionaries in LibO ceased to work. To resolve the problem I removed all instances of LibO using synaptic (it took me 3 attempts) and re-installed 3.6.1.2. So far things seem to be ok.
