[libreoffice-users] Callout 2 - modification of line start point

2012-07-03 Thread Ian McCarthy
I have placed several callout2 objects around a picture to illustrate
various points. I can adjust the remote end of the line and the mid
point, using the little hand which appears and doing click and drag, I
also wish to change where on the callout box the start of the line comes
from, even if it is only from one side to another. When I place the
cursor over the start point the hand appears, as with the other two
points but when I move it the whole box and the start point moves. What
the trick I'm missing?

I have thought of rotating the callout box to fix this, and then
inverting the text inside, surely that can't be the desired way of doing it!

Thanks Ian Mac

Do not rotate, but flip it horizontally. Or use another callout type. If
you want one with a thin connector line, you can use the old ones too,
which you get from the text toolbox.

Kind regards
Regina
