Re: [libreoffice-users] Get Involved with LibreOffice - No Programming Skills Needed
Hi :) Even a little helps and even if it's irregular. That is how most of us work too. http://www.libreoffice.org/get-involved/qa-testers/ Of course some people, mostly devs, do get paid but then they are forced into more regular hours and forced to work on things they don't always want to. Since you are not paid you get to choose what you want to do and how much time to put in. :) WooHoo :) Regards from Tom :) - Original Message - > From: Anthony Easthope > To: users@global.libreoffice.org > Cc: > Sent: Tuesday, 7 May 2013, 5:27 > Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] Get Involved with LibreOffice - No > Programming Skills Needed > > I'd be keen but unfortunately to much happens at my end to be of much > use! Re: [libreoffice-users] Get Involved with LibreOffice - No Programming Skills Needed
Hi Joel, at this point I have some spare time so I can help out where possible. I only really have knowledge on writer and calc which limits my capabilities. I had a look at 2 writer bugs which were not difficult to reproduce. I created a bugzilla account so would it be a good idea to jump in and comment? If you want someone to "check your work" for the first couple you can send them my way and I'll take a look. Here are a couple useful links: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugTriage https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/images/0/06/Prioritizing_Bugs_Flowchart.jpg Between the two you should have a solid foundation for triaging. Feel free to email or ping me on IRC whenever. Hi All, This is an invite for anyone who has just a little time to join the QA team in triaging bugs. Our team is quickly growing but the ratio of users to QA contributors is still not functional as we are having a hard time keeping up with organizing bugs.
