[libreoffice-users] Impress Question
Hi, I've moved my brother to Ubuntu and LibreOffice. I do not have a need to do presentations, so I am not familiar with either Power Point or Impress. He used Power Point a great deal in windows. In LibreOffice, he is having a great deal of difficulty adapting. He did a 15 (+/-) slide presentation and went to print it. In the preview of the slides, two of them are grayed out for some reason, and those two will not print, but the other slides do. They all look fine when you view the presentation as a slide show. Can anyone recommend some good tutorials about getting started with and using Impress, in either text form or YouTube videos? If anyone would like to view the Impress show, I can upload it. Thank you so much. Don Could it be that he has accidentally hidden those slides? With Impress open you see a sliding bar to the left with thumbs of all slides (at least that is the default setup). Select one of the slides in question in that sidebar and you'll see three grey icons appearing. The hints that appear when the mouse it over such a thumb.show you what they do. It could be that he has accidentally clicked one of those icons hiding the slides that won't print. Grx HdV Thank you!!!
