Hi Cor, I should have thought of that ! I created a new document and the Mail Merge worked using the existing database, so I gradually copied over the old document contents to the new document to see what happened. The crash happened when I added a header, and added an image into the header (a blank header worked fine). I'll post a bug report, as I've narrowed it down.
