Hi :) I am fairly sure that LibreOffice works on all platforms now and most other OpenSource programs are often available for Mac or have the potential to be fairly easily ported if a few devs feel it's a good move. There are such things as google-docs that run regardless of platform. Impress seems to be a little behind at the moment but works for most things. Sound links seem to get lost but most of the rest is fine. Captions above and below pictures, picture rotation, opens the problem docx ok, not as good on the odt files.
