Hi :)
You sound like a more sophisticated user so the dumbed-down bug-reporting 
system on the official site is probably just aggravating.  try the wiki-page 
for better guidance

(including how to look-up bugs you might have posted by either route)

Thanks for both hints.I used first the bugzilla and found thereafter the bug 
reporting
assitant of LO. This worked fine until today. Now, based on Joel's
comment I hope the bug reporting assistant get's back to it's
previous functionality.If someone else makes a different experience it 
would be good to

Weird.  It looks like the mailing list badly mangles Rost's replies whereas 
they seem to look fine through my Yahoo account.  [shrugs] not much i can do 
about that except be glad (for once) that i am still sticking with Yahoo.
