Eric,The LibreOffice mail service is primitive.It doesn't handle

Why not just use your nntp newsreader and read/post via gmane.org?
I use gmane currently and would be glad to do this, I wasn't aware that

The development list uses mailman, this list uses mlmmj which is a
different beast:
