Our operator provides us with a propietary http interface to query the status of mt-billed messages. Re: I: imy format to send via SMS
Mauro, No, to send the midi file you usually send a wap-push pointing to the file location or to a file application that does the delivery (and probably bills the client, etc.). The client follows the link and downloads the midi to his/her handset via wap/gprs/etc. Regards, Alejandro On Wed, Nov 19, 2008 at 12:55 PM, mauro [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: A bit hard to reach the point currently we use WURFL to detect the supported file handset file formats currently we use ringtones with imy formats, we need to send the ringtone to the users via kannel, we know also theuser handset. let's suppose user handset is Motorola C139 wurfl tell us midi_monophonic : true midi_polyphonic : true can we transcode the the imy ringtone using ringtone tool and send it via kannel to make the user able to sing the melody? Thats right. I think those are propietary statuses? I'm not so familiar with Kannel's DLR but I guess you will have to customize Kannel (whether via the conf file or source code) to accept those statuses in its DLR. Re: fakesmsc help
Hi all, I was able to track down and correct the problem. Thanks, Raj for the help. A problem with the configuration of smsbox. Cannot declare smsbox-id without specifying bearerbox routing. Now I am faced with another hurdle, which I would appreciate some input. According to the manual, FAKE smsc supports DLRs. I need an example how to configure that. Has anybody done it? Any help would be appreciated. The reason I cannot use a real connection, is that I need to benchmark it by sending several million requests. For obvious reasons I cannot use a real interface. Ultimately i would like to hook ppg to the fake sms service and get the (faked) DLRs from there. I include latest configuration file. Thanx, Nikos P.S. Documentation was rather unclear. SQLBox Question
Hi, I read some threads in the archives about how to reply MT using SQLBox. AFAIK it can be done by injecting manually the MT to the send table. What I confuse here is, what about if the MT is expected as the HTTP Response. How does SQLBox treat and serve this? And does the sequence is bearerbox-sqlbox-smsbox? Or bearerbox-smsbox-sqlbox? How to configure the latter? TIA. Willy

I am at testing stage for one the client. It has wonderful results almost like a painkiller for the Operation Manager, at least now he andhis team know whats outage, where its and how could it arressted and Above all before the customer knw and start killin him let me kwn if somebody is interested cheers -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Opensource-NMS-to-monitor-the-kannel-and-affliated-ser vices-tp20574372p20574372.html Sent from the Kannel - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- ___ users mailing list users@kannel.org http://www.kannel.org/mailman/listinfo/users End of users Digest, Vol 30, Issue 41 *
